I am originally from Québec City and have made the Yukon my home since 2015. I completed my Masters in Social Work at the University of Ottawa and spent several years in front-line social work, mental health, education and sexual health before transitioning into clinical counselling.

I am passionate about this work and deeply believe that we all need connection, compassion, and a clearer understanding of our inner world. I strive to offer a space that is inclusive, welcoming, and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experiences.

My practice focuses on trauma, attachment, intimacy, sexuality, relationships, and the transition to parenthood. My approach includes the exploration of emotional and nervous system patterns, and the mind–body connection.

I am also passionate about therapeutic movement and facilitate dance-based groups as part of my work. In my free time, I love spending time with my son, reading, baking, and harvesting wild plants.

Training includes:

  • Continuing education in sexuality

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy

  • Gottman Method for Couples Therapy

  • Bringing Baby Home Facilitator Training with the Gottman Institute

  • Somatic Experiencing (currently completing the 3-year training)

  • Dance Your Ability

  • Formation Bringing Baby Home (Institut Gottman)

  • Somatic Experiencing (formation de 3 ans en cours)

  • Dance Your Ability

The Yukon has been my home since 2004. I love the North and have worked cross-culturally across the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. I am deeply committed to supporting and enhancing the inherent resilience and well-being of individuals and communities.

My counselling work is grounded in curiosity and a deep appreciation for how experiences, relationships and context shape and are shaped by our view of ourselves and our world. I strive to meet clients where they are, and offer a space that is welcoming, respectful and inclusive.

My practice focuses on attachment, loss and grief of all kinds, illness, relationships, trauma and intimacy. My client-centred approach involves identifying and accessing inner resources through the exploration of emotional, relational, and physiological patterns.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, a Master of Arts from Carleton University, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have enjoyed a diverse career that has included producing music festivals, conducting environmental reviews and leading organisations. I am a Healing Touch practitioner (Level 3) and an end-of-life doula. Over the last ten years, I have supported individuals at the end of life, caregivers (both personal and professional), and those experiencing grief and loss through Hospice Yukon and in private practice.

In my free time, I love hiking, paddling and spending time with my children.

Training includes:

  • Continuing education in sexual health and sexual trauma

  • Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy

  • Ambiguous loss

  • Prolonged/complicated grief

  • Compassion-based interactions

  • Spiritual care at the end of life
